  • Valla is not liable for damages caused by pros, but we offer a guarantee to make it right.

Please read these terms carefully before using the Valla platform.

1. Eligibility

To use Valla, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account. You represent that you are the owner of the property or have the owner's permission to book services.

2. Booking Terms

When you book a service, you agree to provide accurate information regarding your address, the nature of the work required, and the time slot. You are responsible for ensuring the property is accessible and safe for the pro. Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours before the scheduled time to avoid a cancellation fee.

3. Pro Conduct

Valla pros are independent contractors. They are not employees of Valla. They are required to adhere to Valla's Code of Conduct, which includes treating all customers with respect, maintaining a professional appearance, and following all safety guidelines. Pros are responsible for their own tools, equipment, and insurance coverage.

4. Payment Terms

Payment for services is processed securely through our platform using credit or debit cards. You agree to pay the full amount quoted at the time of booking. Valla does not accept cash payments. Refunds are processed according to the Valla Guarantee policy outlined in our Help Center.

5. Liability

Valla acts solely as a facilitator connecting homeowners with independent professionals. Valla is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses that occur during a service, except to the extent required by law. We recommend that all homeowners verify the insurance coverage of their chosen pro before the service begins.

6. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of these terms or the use of the Valla platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the jurisdiction where you reside, rather than in court. You waive your right to a jury trial.

7. Termination

Valla reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in fraudulent activity. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease.
